Radisson Seven Seas offers an incomparable program of exploration and discovery
to over 300 ports on six continents, including Antarctica. Their luxury vessels
are designed for guests numbering in the hundreds rather than the thousands. The
ambiance on board is personal, individual, accommodating... upscale but not
uptight. And all ships also share certain distinctions in accommodations,
service, dining and amenities that elevate them to the lofty vantage point of an
enviable six stars.
Chosen as the World's Best Small Cruise Line by the readers of Travel +
Leisure magazine and Conde Nast Traveller, Radisson Seven Seas has earned a
leadership role in the 6-star cruise industry. Their fleet of luxury ships
provides a limited number of guests the highest standard of cruising excellence
combined with exciting opportunities for discovery around the world.
Ultra-Luxury with All-Inclusive Value Radisson Seven Seas' objective to provide an ultra-luxury cruise experience that
also represents true value. In keeping with this philosophy, their voyages
feature many enhancements, benefits or special events on a complimentary basis
or at a minimal cost. And most of their fares also include many features
normally considered "extras" such as gratuities; non-alcoholic beverages
throughout your voyage; wines at dinner and often at lunch; an in-suite bar
set-up stocked with your choice of liquor, wines or champagne upon embarkation
(and on some of our ships, throughout the entire cruise!).
As a matter of fact, World Ocean & Cruise Liner Society has awarded the
"Best Cruise Value" in the ultra-deluxe category to Radisson Seven Seas for 11
years in a row for these reasons.
Activities and Things to Do Radisson Seven Seas offers an unusual array
of pleasurable pastimes - including some activities rarely available even in the
finest resorts on land. Contract Bridge, for example, complimentary computer
classes, art auctions and classes in ballroom dancing. However, to do or not to
do is up to you.
On each voyage, a guest lecturer drawn from the highest ranks of the
Diplomatic Service, leading universities or museums presents informal talks or
slide shows about the unique places you'll be visiting. Learn about the Incas of
Peru on a South America cruise, for example, or a lecture on Renaissance
Florence on a voyage around Italy.
Free computer classes include Introduction to E-mail and Advanced Word
Processing and Digital Photography may also be available. Or if bridge is your
game, a certified Master Bridge instructor can teach you the fine art of
contract or duplicate bridge in the card room.
Radisson's exclusive Le Cordon Bleu Class Culinaire is available on select
sailings, a hands-on experience taught by chefs trained in the Le Cordon Bleu
method of classic French cooking. There is a charge per guest for this exclusive
course.
Additional options include art auctions and a library well stocked with
books, DVD's and assorted games. There are duty-free boutiques and a Photo Shop
with film and camera equipment. And every afternoon, high tea accompanied by
fresh scones and other delicacies is served in one of the lounges.
Entertainment On
just about any night of your Radisson Seven Seas Cruise, you'll be tempted to
abandon any thoughts of going to bed at a sensible hour. There are dazzling live
performances, thrilling games of chance, romantic cabaret acts, hilarious (and
sometimes quite talented) Karaoke performances, plus dancing until you tell them
when. Need a partner? One of Radisson's gentlemen hosts will be honoured to spin
you around the floor.
Lounges and Cigar Bars Settle into a comfortable English club chair in
the Connoisseur Club, and light up a hand-rolled cigar from the
climate-controlled humidor. Or watch for falling stars in the romantic
Observation Lounge accompanied by the grand piano or, perhaps, a cabaret artist.
Casinos Are you in the mood to gamble? Drop by the elegantly appointed
Casino, where croupiers deal the cards and announce the plays with a
savoir-faire that would make James Bond green with envy. Gaming choices include
blackjack, mini-craps, roulette, video poker, and slot machines.
Fitness Programs Devotees of health and fitness will find the latest
exercise equipment in the window-walled Fitness Centre. In the Aerobics Room
next door, professional instructors lead fitness classes, while for the perfect
denouement, the Judith Jackson Sea Spa presents an elaborate array of spa and
beauty treatments using pure, plant-based products.
In the fitness centres and aerobics rooms, you'll find lifecycles, free
weights, striders, stairmasters, treadmills, weight benches, a Nautilus machine,
workout mats and step benches. A fitness instructor is on hand to offer advice
and to demonstrate the use of the fitness equipment.
Radisson is also devoted to sports with golf cages, shuffleboard, paddle
tennis and a full-circle jogging track. And on some ships you'll also find teak
pool decks, large heated pool, two whirlpools, table tennis, and a Pool Bar and
Grill. Please check our website for more details about your ship.
Carita of Paris Spa Program Radisson Seven Seas guests have access to
one of the most exclusive land-based spa operations in the world, with its
unrivalled approach to spa and beauty; services are tailored uniquely to the
needs of each individual. Carita of Paris is an upscale spa, whose patented
techniques flow from its Parisian heritage, was founded with a single aim: to
unveil "the touch of charm inside everyone with made-to-measure solutions". The
Carita approach couples pleasure with effectiveness, sophistication with
simplicity and research with the expertise of highly trained beauty therapists,
hairdressers and nail technicians.
The Dining Experience Radisson Seven Seas is so passionate about creating an extraordinary dining
experience, that they have left nothing to chance. Seating is open, allowing you
to dine whenever, wherever and with whomever you wish. Or you may opt for a
reservations-only restaurant.
On each ship, the choices where to dine are as varied as the international
menus. Waiters recruited from some of the world's finest restaurants and hotels
provide renowned "Above & Beyond" service. A choice of fine, complimentary
wine is poured nightly, or a professional sommelier will be pleased to discuss
alternatives available for purchase from your ship's wine cellar. And if you
prefer to dine en suite, you may order selections from the chef's nightly menu
during regular dining hours - while the room service menu is available 24 hours
a day.
Staterooms and Suites All of the accommodations on the Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager are
beautifully appointed, spacious suites with private balconies. Nearly the same
can be said for the Seven Seas Navigator, where 90% of her suites are balconies.
Suites range from a quite sufficient 301 square feet (including balcony) to a
staggering 2,002 square feet in the Seven Seas Mariner's aptly named Master
Suite. Even the smallest deluxe stateroom on the Radisson Diamond seem more
commodious than its 243 square feet, in part because of the expansive windows
or, in many cases, private balconies.
Most Radisson suites include:
- A walk-in closet big enough to change in with dozens of hangers
- A private safe.
- A gleaming marble-lined bath with full-size tub and shower.
- A mini-bar pre-stocked with your favourite beverages.
- A bedroom (with twin beds or a European king-size bed) and a separate living
room area tastefully furnished with a loveseat and comfortable armchairs with an
adjustable table for dining in-suite.
- Convenient switches for directed lighting where you want it, when you want
it.
- A television and video player.
- A private, teak-decked balcony with two plumply cushioned lounge chairs and
a side table.
- Thickly napped, oversize towels and full-length bathrobes to wrap up in
after bathing or a dip in the pool.
- As a further personal convenience a handy self-service launderette with
washers, dryers and ironing facilities are provided or laundry and dry-cleaning
services are also available.
- Private butler service is offered to guests in Categories B and above.
- 24-hour room service, including selections from the Compass Rose Restaurant
during regular dining hours
Club Mariner Children's ProgramClub Mariner is a program offered on
several RSSC ships during the summer months and the holiday seasons. Available
on the Radisson Diamond, the Seven Seas Mariner, the Seven Seas Navigator, and
the Seven Seas Voyager, Club Mariner offers a variety of activities for children
from the ages of 6 to 11 and 12 to 17.
Young cruisers are divided into two age groups, and activities are
designed for each group. Our Club Mariner counsellors have many activities,
including games, craft projects, movies, and "food fun" to make sure each child
has a memorable experience. Teens help the counsellor select the activities they
prefer to do on their cruise.

one of our Hanukkah/Christmas sailings, young cruisers will have a fun and
